1971- Bugeye

Did you know the Hot Wheels Bugeye is one of the wildest Redline designs from the early '70s? Released in 1971, this futuristic car featured a unique twin-bubble canopy, giving it that unmistakable "bug-eyed" look. It was only available for a couple of years, but it made a comeback in 1973 as part of the Shell Promotion. Even more interesting, it was later issued in Mexico by CIPSA in 1974, making it a rare find for collectors today. If you have one in your collection, consider yourself lucky—this little speedster has quite a history!
