1971- Ice T

Hot Wheels history spotlight: the Ice T—one of the most iconic and imaginative Redlines ever made.

Released in 1970 and designed by Tom Daniel, Ice T was part of the “Show & Go” series and is instantly recognizable by its outrageous design: part custom van, part dragster, with a signature rear-mounted V8 and a bubble canopy. It even had a sculpted-in fridge unit in the back, reinforcing the “Ice” theme.

Available in a variety of Spectraflame colors, this model has become a favorite among collectors for its bold styling and unique concept. A clean original or nicely restored Ice T is a true gem in any Redline collection.

Whether you're a longtime collector or just starting to build your lineup, the Ice T is a conversation piece that reminds us why we fell in love with Hot Wheels in the first place.

If you or anyone you know owns any of these vintage treasures, feel free to send a message!
