If you grew up collecting Hot Wheels, you probably remember the *Snake* Funny Car from the Redlines era. Based on the real-life drag racing legend Don “The Snake” Prudhomme’s Plymouth Barracuda, this Hot Wheels classic became an icon in the 1970s.

With its bright yellow paint, snake graphics, and rear lift-up body, the *Snake* Funny Car wasn’t just another toy—it was a miniature version of the high-speed thrills happening on the drag strip. It was part of the famous *Snake vs. Mongoose* rivalry, a marketing powerhouse that made kids everywhere dream of burning rubber down the track.

If you or anyone you know owns any of these vintage treasures, feel free to send a message!

Picture is from online redline guide for reference.
