1971- Noodlehead

1971-Noodlehead! Originally first released in 1971 as part of the Mainline Redline series. It was later included in the Flying Colors lineup, but its original debut came in ’71. The exposed chrome pipes curving over the top give it that unmistakable “noodle” look.

It was only produced for a short time, making it a bit harder to come by, especially in good condition. Designed by Paul Tam, it’s one of those models that really shows off the creative freedom Mattel had in the early ‘70s.
