SUNDAY FUNDAY!

The LOTUS TURBINE was introduced in 1969 as part of the new Hot Wheels Grand Prix Series. Mattel's miniature version of this Indy car was specifically designed after the #70 car, driven by Graham Hill, one of Andy Granatelli STP team cars that raced in 1968 at the Indianapolis 500. This model was manufactured only at the Hong Kong plant and was issued for approximately two years. It comes with the typical Hong Kong blue-tinted windscreen and has a silver painted intake vent located just behind the cockpit. A decal sheet with "#70* racing numbers, the Lotus emblem, and another sheet with a variety of sponsors' logos were included in the blister pack.

Here it is featured in purple! If you or anyone you know have any Redlines Hot Wheels from the 1960’s-1970’s, shoot me a message! Have a great day!
