Collection Details
Mail call from Todd in California! Just received a fantastic collection of 77 cars, and there are some real standouts in this group.
The Orange Barracuda is a great example of early muscle car influence in the Redline era. Based on the Plymouth Barracuda, this casting captured the bold hood and aggressive stance that made the real car so popular in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The orange Spectraflame really highlights the body lines and gives it that unmistakable shelf presence.
The Pink Mod Quad is always a fun one to see. Introduced in 1970, the Mod Quad featured an exposed engine and low, open design that fit perfectly with the experimental, performance-driven look Hot Wheels was pushing at the time. Bright pink versions are especially eye-catching and add a lot of color to any display.
The Magenta Classic Cord is another favorite from this box. The Classic Cord was inspired by the 1937 Cord 812, known for its hidden headlights and sleek, forward-thinking design. Hot Wheels translated that elegant styling into a Redline casting that looks great in deeper colors like magenta, which really brings out the long hood and distinctive curves.
Always exciting to open a box and find this much vintage variety in one shipment. Big thanks to Todd for sending along such a solid 77-car collection.
If you or someone you know has any Hot Wheels Redlines tucked away, feel free to reach out and message me—always happy to talk Redlines!
