1971- Cockney Cab

Throwback to one of the quirkiest and coolest Hot Wheels Redlines—**the Cockney Cab**! First released in 1971, this little die-cast gem was inspired by the classic London taxi but with a serious twist of Hot Wheels attitude. It had a blown engine sticking out of the hood, oversized rear wheels, and a chopped top that made it look like it was ready to race instead of pick up passengers.

Fun fact: Even though it's modeled after a British cab, it was designed and made right in the U.S. by Hot Wheels designer Larry Wood—known for adding a wild spin to traditional vehicles.

If you or anyone you know owns any of these vintage treasures, feel free to send a message!
