Let’s fire up some nostalgia with a classic from the dragstrip — the Mongoose II! Part of Hot Wheels’ legendary “Snake vs. Mongoose” rivalry, this beauty hit the scene in 1970 and quickly became a favorite for fans of speed, racing, and big personalities.

Mongoose II was modeled after Tom “The Mongoose” McEwen’s funny car, complete with a lifted rear, massive engine, and a body that screamed horsepower. Hot Wheels captured all the action of real-life drag racing and shrunk it down to Redline size

If you or anyone you know owns any of these vintage treasures, feel free to send a message!
